Until March 2013 I was an app virgin. I treated myself to an iPad and now have an android phone! I love apps! They make life easier on so many ways. Here are my 5 must have apps.
- Facebook – goes without saying that I love being about to share every detail whilst out and about.
- Facebook Pages – is a must for all small businesses, keeping your Facebook page upto date on the go. You can even schedule in posts via the app too.
- Twitter – so now I sound like a social media freak but I have found as a blogger most brands are easier to tag, catch the attention of via twitter than Facebook.
- Calculator – I know not very inspiring but totally practical and useful!
- Instagram – obsession isn’t the word for it! I love posting pictures on Instagram, I love the fast share onto Facebook and Twitter, easy universal use of # and seamless tagging from Instagram to Twitter! Big thumbs up from me! And as they say sometimes a picture says a 1,000 words!

Mine are pretty much the same as yours! I also use Be Funky (like Instagram but with lots more functions) and Kindle too.

I only have Instagram linked to my business page (Charlie Moo’s) but I like that you can select when you send it to FB/twitter as sometimes I don’t want to post them to FB x

I had my first smartphone 2 years ago and got hooked but it didn’t have enough storage space, so when I upgraded t in April this year, I installed the ones your mention (but I don’t have instagram)plus:
LinkedIn, Google+, Qora, Pinterest, Scoop it, HootSuite,Trello, Tout, Paypal, Skype,What’s App, Evernote plus loads of apps related to teaching German – it’s my mini office 🙂
Not an app as such as part of iOS but the calendar (colour coded for each member of the family/business). Errands helps with my To-Do list. Like yourself Jo I use Facebook, Facebook pages and finally the Met Office weather app.
Excel is the best budgeting tool and it’s FREE!! Can be customized how ever we want and whenever we want
