designyourcareer-smallWayne Hemingway MBE, designer with a social conscience and founder of Red or Dead, will be joining other award winning creatives for a two day conference titled Design Your Career at the Pavilion Dance venue in Bournemouth on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd February 2013.Design Your Career is a one-stop-shop on how to establish your own creative enterprise. Throughout the weekend workshops and seminars will be offer guidance and inspiration ideal for budding designers, crafters, photographers, illustrators and other individuals with a creative flare. Organised by Bournemouth based Neil and Sarah Leonard of Craft, Coffee & Cupcakes, their aim is to develop the industry and welcome delegates from across the UK to visit the seaside town.

Design Your Career is the concept of Neil and Sarah Leonard. The couple, who together have a wide wealth of experience of craft and design incorporating everything from textiles and print to web and film, are now concentrating on event organising, creating collaborations across the creative sector. Previously Neil lectured in Graphic Design before turning his attention freelance design and recently authored two books for AVA Publishing – BASICS Graphic Design 02: Design Research and BASICS Graphic Design 03: Idea Generation.
