Why Work Management Software is a Must for Small Businesses

Do you ever work on team projects or undertake freelance collaboration where you find yourself in the middle of a mass of confusing emails?  I co-run Lemur Linkup Networking Group based in Poole and we’d certainly benefit from a better way to develop and manage projects. We rely heavily on one of us being up to date or shuffling through masses of messages on Facebook—sometimes multiple threads on the same topic. It’s not conductive of a good working relationship and it can sometimes mean we can be organising at the eleventh hour, which is both stressful and unnecessarily time consuming.

What is Wrike? :

Do you need a way in which to locate & distribute teamwork and collaborations better? Have you heard about Wrike? Wrike, a project management software, acts like a central location for all parties involved to see exactly where individuals and the project itself are at.  The software provides full visibility and clearly states deadlines, tasks requirements, and project goals, meaning all team members are on the same page.

The great thing about Wrike’s agile project management software is that it allows you not only to keep track of your tasks, projects, and workload, but allows collaborators and department managers to report on those projects too. This cloud-based software not only means projects are completed faster, but also saves you time & money.  To start a free trial of Wrike’s web based project management tools, check out their available subscriptions and full list of features to decide which plan is right for your needs.

Project Management Tools need to be :

  • Accessible : If you’re like me, on small business countdown to reduced working hours and with children to look after, then an app is a life-saver for client projects. Wrike includes free apps available on Android and iOS alongside a Chrome extension, meaning you can keep up with projects no matter where you are.
  • Interactive Timeline : Which is useful for communication and online collaboration for teams of any size, enabling each member to see who has done what, what still needs to be done, and whether they are on track to achieve the end goal.
  • Multilingual : Online communication enables companies to develop global strategies and communicate with people anywhere in the world. Wrike is available in 10 languages (English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish). We aren’t quite at this point yet with Lemur Linkup, but you never know.

Project management software also helps with productivity, organisation, and time management. Tasks are easy to prioritise, increased visibility eliminates duplicate tasks and rework, and assignee’s get the full context of each task. Projects are completed faster and streamlined communication makes it so easy to task discussions and work updates.

Do you use project management software with any of your clients or team based projects?

    Ahhh hello me! lol!
    Lovely photo of us all.
Sounds like this could be useful to a lot of us, I am a bit of a techophobe, I am a good old fashioned pen and paper girl but I can see how people rely on this kind of stuff.

Working on a paper for project or business management is good idea but its very old and lengthy formula to make all schedules and also wastage of time and money. For a paper work there is a need to make every time new but same schedule. So to solve this problem project management software is a brilliant approach. This is affordable, time save and also money saver. Thanks for sharing this information with us.

Thanks for this, I am always looking for this sort of management software, and I must say, the idea of a free trial is always welcome! Some places are all about getting the money first and sometimes offer a 30-day money back guarantee, but a free trial is a much better idea.

I think I need to stop looking at them and finally jump into one and make my mind up. This one I hadn’t heard of, but is definitely on my radar now, so thank you, Joanne 🙂 As always, love your site
