Fancy winning a copy of ‘Working 5 to 9: how to Start a successful business in your spare time, by Emma Jones?

It takes a look at the ‘working 5pm to 9pm’ trend in the UK, and profiles 60 people (including Victoria Dixon from Enhance-me who we have profiled on this blog) who are running successful businesses outside of their normal office hours – everything from writing, baking and accounting, to magic, music and even pig farming!

In the book, Emma offers over 50 ideas of businesses you can run in your spare time and looks at franchise ideas that can be run in the same way.

There’s also advice on starting a business, sales, marketing, technology and how to maintain your social life whilst working 5 to 9.

Just leave a comment below detailing why you think I should give this book to you!
All entries need to be in by Tuesday 2nd November 12pm and the winner will be announced at 6pm by Daddy Moo my willing assistant.

I don’t want to go all X Factor on you and plead the sympathy vote but I genuinely could really do with this book right now. I had my first child 4 weeks ago and found out I was being made redundant 2 weeks ago! Quite the crazy time. However, I think it’s a good thing in a way as it may just prove to be the kickstart I need to try and set up my own business to supplement my income and provide for my wonderful new family.

I would love to read this book as it looks as though it is just what I need to build my business in my spare time.  All the sales and marketing tips would be very useful indeed as they are weak spots.
