Is linking Facebook to Twitter wrong?
According to an article on PR Daily – it can be seen as anti social?
Well only if you aren’t logging into Twitter once a day then yes it is. But surely if you are signed up to Twitter you are at least accessing it once a day and integrating, developing relationships, using it in terms with your general marketing plan – otherwise why sign up?
It’s unauthentic? The responses I receive on Twitter are very different than those on Facebook. The tone, pace and users differ and can be really great for achieving a balanced argument. Twitter works in a real time aspect which Facebook doesn’t – meaning that if you needed a local printer that day – Twitter would be the best place to ask within minutes you can be inundated with recommendations. Facebook is much more the long game.
It looks sloppy. OK well I can kind of give them this one yes Facebook allows you to write status updates in much more than 140 characters so the reader will be encouraged to clink the link back to Facebook to read the entire content. But er … isn’t this true of say posting blog tweets – nobody can read this post on twitter without clicking the link to open the post – is this sloppy?

Twitter to Facebook – now this doesn’t work at all! (Please do comment if you disagree!) I find that reading RT’s and out of context discussions on a Facebook page really off putting? There is no sense and I do think this looks sloppy.
