The main trading address is 45 Juniper Close, Three Legged Cross, Dorset, BH21 6SN.

We are not currently required to register for VAT.

What personal data do we collect and why we collect it :

Comments :

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. This information ie. email addresses are not used to contact you.

Subscription to comments on the blog :

The comments made on JoanneDewberry.co.uk may be subscribed to by third parties. In particular, there is the possibility that a commenter subscribes to the comments following their comment on a particular blog post. The option to subscribe to comments may be terminated at any time.

Cookies :

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

We collect email addresses via Mailchimp which can be signed up to via JoanneDewberry.co.uk and Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/joannedewberry.co.uk/

Lists pre 25th May 2018 have been deleted.

We use a double opt-in and you can unsubscribe at any point.

JoanneDewberry.co.uk uses Mailchimp to handle email marketing and newsletters.

Paypal :

We occasionally use Paypal on Joanne Dewberry. PayPal is an online payment service provider.

The personal data transmitted to PayPal is usually first name, last name, address, email address, IP address, or other data necessary for payment processing. The processing of the purchase contract also requires such personal data, which are in connection with the respective order. JoanneDewberry.co.uk only receives the data required to fulfil the order (ie. name, email and address). We never receive bank or card details from Paypal.

How long we retain your data :

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

If you have made any purchases via PayPal we will keep your data stored on Paypal. We do not print or store hard copies of addresses.

What rights you have over your data :

If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data :

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We take your data seriously and therefore only collect data we need.
