In my last post about home offices I talked about making the environment more healthy and that included a new office chair. I’m currently using a redundant pine dinning table chair, which is great for posture but not after 5 hours! You get an awfully numb bum and a sore back. Ideally I’d like a great big arm chair to curl up in, surrounded by scatter cushions whilst receiving a foot massage. But realistically this isn’t going to sit under the desk well!
When I put the question out there to my small business chums I expected to see a flurry of people sending me links to their favourite office chairs BUT surprisingly many told me they stand. STAND! Standing for 5 hours! Apparently its a great way to be healthy and you are much more productive?! I can’t see it myself! Do you sit or stand in your home office?
