AN ENTREPRENEURIAL Dorset mum is in the running for Business Mum of the Year.

JOANNE Dewberry

Joanne Dewberry, from Three Legged Cross, who runs Charlie Moo’s, a party bag specialist, and co-owns Networking Mummies, is on the shortlist for the mumandworking awards.

Supported by TV star and mother Sarah Beeny, the awards are designed to highlight that flexible working is possible.

Joanne is listed alongside her business partner Laura Morris.

“It’s an odd feeling to be suggested that you’re inspirational but if I can inspire one mum to pursue a dream of running her own business while being a mum to small children then it’s all been worthwhile,” Joanne said.

There were 400 entries across six categories and finalists, who will be announced at the end of September, stand to win a share of £3,000 in prizes at a presentation ceremony at Hilton St Anne’s Manor near Bracknell on November 4.
