Operation Office – Part 2

It’s been a while since I updated the whole “operation office” malarky and that’s because it’s not really finished yet. IT IS in a much better and user friendly state than previously BUT still some way to go!  I made a trip to Ikea in Southampton armed with a list … was totally and utterly overwhelmed and didn’t buy half of what I really needed!

supplies

The supplies came to under £15!  I bought a rail, a packet of plastic hooks, 2 cups to hang off the rail, 3 cardboard storage boxes 2 sizes, 2 brackets and a shelf.  The hanging rail is to go under the shelf already on the desk (see below it has a coloured box on) this utilises the empty space there and keeps things like scissors, pens and washi tape (new obsession thanks to Poppy Sparkles!) off the desk top.

Organising some of the mess!

high shelf

High up shelving utilises wasted space near the ceiling. This holds my files I don’t need on a regular basis, books and signed copies of Crafting a Successful Small Business – for when an adoring fan needs one!

Ideally I need another shelf and some kind of pinboard/noticeboard.

Check back soon for Part 3!
