I recently held my first workshop about Blogging for Business and how useful a blog is for promoting your business and increasing your SEO as the content is so new and fresh it’s ‘super google friendly‘! Being involved with Blog Carnivals are a really good way to increase your SEO with good links but also open you up to a whole new audience. I was so surprised by how many people sent me their blogs and I’d never heard of them before and have since enjoyed reading their blogs!
So let’s get started with Business Mums Blog Carnival organiser Helen from Business Plus Baby and her excellent post on Starting an online shop. Such useful information for startups. Sugar Mums discusses What the Experts Say a must-read for any budding Social Entrepreneur. I particularly like this post from BaM about ‘The Doubt’ … it’s so true how we can let such a stupid thing dictate our behaviour. Continuing on from the fear factor we have ACEInspire breaking down the barriers that mums come up against when thinking about starting in business.
Minor Edition shares their ‘meaning of success’ while Mummy Bean shares her experiences on becoming a mumpreneur. Continuing on the theme of business and children there’s a very interesting post sent over from The Kids Coach about Threatening our children something that resonated with me after my brush with backfiring threats a few weeks ago. You can read about this on my mummy blog I’m a baby … certainly taught me a thing or two and I will be taking The Kids Coach advice and making ‘deals‘ from now on!! Over at The Hub the language we use with our children theme continues as they discuss room tidying and children. Then last stop for mum related blogs is Sprog Blogs who look at the reliance on Grandparents for childcare. My mother in law helps occasionally collecting M&M from school etc .. and my mum will help in the holidays having the children for a few days. Which I know sounds like bliss and you are all hating me right now 😉 but I should mention that my parents are in their late forties, we are lucky they are young and have plenty of stamina!
Victoria May’s post is all about soap and the chemicals used in making them. Cerendipity talks about the wedding planners 10 commandments … I very much like her concepts here!! As someone who has never planned a wedding but knows I have strict ideas about what I like and don’t like it did tickle me. Making sure that her products really shine. Poppy Sparkles and the very talented Marie Donn Photography have produced some excellent storyboard images that just make me want to buy everything!! And while I am sat thinking about pretty jewellery might as well add a blog about CHOCOLATE!! Thank you, Tola!
Hope you have enjoyed this whirlwind blog carnival, don’t forget to hop on board next months.
